Black Friday!!!

This is the clock on our car as we pulled into Kohl's this morning. We shopped Black Friday! Our day went like this. Kohl's at 4 am. Out at 4:40. (best sales and best selection for what we needed)

In line outside of Wal-Mart at 4:45. It opened at 5 am. We were out at 5:15 (that by the way was the scariest and least worth it, albeit the cheapest trip. People were mean and the whole store smelled of smoky people)
On to Old Navy by 5:25. In and out in time to get in line at Target at 5:55 (this one was a line inside the mall so it was the warmest one).
Target is the home of our favorite Black Friday door buster items, $4 movies that we will wrap up and give to each other for Christmas. We were out of there in about 45 minutes (we love that store so we always dally in there) and on to the Bon Ton. We walked right in and grabbed what we wanted and got in the line. . . that wrapped around the store. So we took turns looking around for deals and standing in line. Consequently by the time we got to the register we had nothing in our hands that we had started with. We left the mall just as the sun was coming up. When it was all said and done we were done shopping, home, full of breakfast and back in bed by 8 am.
It seems crazy (especially since I am sick as I can be) but it's as exciting as it gets. When we woke up we jumped online and finished off our Christmas shopping on Amazon.com Black Friday sale list.
What was even crazier is that when we left our house at quarter to 4 this morning there was already a long line at Best Buy! It's comforting to know there is always someone crazier than us :)

Wow! You guys were way crazier than us! ;) We were up and out at 7:00, but we did miss a few good things. I'll write about it on my blog soon. But, nice work on the haul!

Ben...I got a comment from you on my blog awhile back, but had no way of replying. But I found you again on Lichelle's blog! Looks like life is treating you well and it was fun to read up on what is going on. :) You and your wife make a darling couple! Congrats (oh just a year late).
