We've had quite a few changes in our lives lately. Here they are, in no particular order.
- we sold our house and therefore will likely go back to not itemizing our taxes
- we moved downtown into a tiny apartment with a killer view that we love
- we sold our car and therefore have become completely reliant on our feet, taxis, and public transportation
- Macie had her first birthday--hooray!
- Macie just figured out how to walk all the way down the hall without help (though she still requires bribery in the form of toys, food, and/or Mom to perform the trick)
- Ben started a new job at Storck USA as Associate Brand Manager of Werther's Original, working on the Sugar Free brand.
- Lexi continues her streak of awesomeness by taking care of (and putting up with) Macie and Ben at the same time
- Our ward was split right when we moved in, so now we go to church in an elementary school (it kind of muddies the water of separation of church and state)
- We just bought Macie one of her Christmas presents today. Lexi and I played with it for probably a half hour after Macie went to bed.
