Boston

We went to Boston the weekend before last. We went there with Gerret and Sarah Montgomery from our branch. Lexi and I have wanted to go there for a long time and we finally got the chance.


On the way out there we drove through Salem and went to the witch museum. Fortunately we had a good lawyer who got us out of a sticky situation at the blocks.

We ate lunch at Cheers. There are two Cheers restaurants in Boston. One was the "outside" in the TV show. This is the other one. It has a bar setup that looks like the set for the show. It was neat. They had cardboard cutouts of Norm and Sam and everybody.

On Sunday after church we went to Harvard to check out the campus. It was absolutely beautiful. There is a cathedral on campus that was huge. We couldn't go in it because it was Easter and we didn't want to interrupt.


This is a payphone just outside the campus walls at Harvard. I'm glad to know that Ithaca isn't the only place where people are paranoid. As a sidenote, who uses payphones these days anyway?
