What we have been up to

We have had visitors so we have been all over the place. First we got a surprise call from our friends Matt and Caroline Maxwell who were in Wisconsin and heading back to Ithaca so they stopped over for the night to see us. We had a great time going to Taste of Chicago and out to dinner. It was fun to see them and their little Madeline. Then three days later My cousin A.E. and his wife Cassidy came to visit us. We did all sorts of touristy things and shopping and went to the temple and went to a Cubs game. It was my first game and it really was a blast. They had great nachos and the best Pepsi ever.
The cubs actually won too! It was a really good game with a grand slam and two home runs. Plus the people next to us left really early and said we could move into their seats which were better than ours. We had a great time, thanks for the tickets guys!





We walked all over the place and ate lots of good food for 4 days. On Sunday one of Cassidy's friends who lives in the northern suburbs came down with her family and we walked down to the museum campus to watch the sunset. It was really pretty.
