What happens when you live in the hometown of the next president....?
They light up the buildings in all sorts of patriotic ways.
This was the night of Nov. 4th. The huge Obama rally was just a couple of blocks away from our apartment, so we went down to check things out. There were people all over the place.
We didn't have tickets to get in and see the actual Obama speech, so we were out in the large section of the park with the masses. You can see the big screen with CNN on in the background:
It was so incredibly loud when CNN called the election for Obama. It sounded like we were next to a sports stadium. We are lame married people, so we went home before it got too late, but it was still a lot of fun.
