...trip continued

Ok, so we take forever to blog. We're almost to the point where we get to Chicago (which happened 6 weeks ago). Anyway, here's our trip to NYC in 90 seconds or less.

We flew into New York City on our way back from the DR and stayed for a couple of days before continuing on to Chicago. We stayed with our friends, Skyler and Shannah Tanner, from Ithaca. Skyler just finished his second year of law school at Cornell and is working at a law firm in the city for the summer. Thanks again, you guys. We appreciate you letting us crash your pad. (note from Lexi) We were so glad to have stayed with you guys. We had SO much fun and we miss you guys so much. Shannah it was so wonderful to be away from home and have delicious meals that didn't make me sick once! That rarely happens. Thank you for all of your hard work to make our stay so great. Skyler we missed you but we hope you can find some time away from work and school and you guys can come play in Chicago.

Here's what we did:

Visited Times Square

(Skyler and Shannah)
Went to Central Park

Saw the outside of the Manhattan Temple

Saw the outside of the New York Stock Exchange

Went to a gluten-free restaurant! No picture :(

And we went to FAO Schwartz where Lexi got to know Harry Potter, Chewy, and the toy soldier doorman
